New

A new engine under the hood

We've rebuilt some of the most important parts of The Poker Timer from the ground up. The tournament clock and results now run on a new core engine, making games more reliable from start to finish. We've also redesigned the player lobby and reworked the sounds across the app.

What's new

The tournament clock and results now run directly from the core of The Poker Timer, giving us a much stronger foundation for running and managing games.

Timing is more precise, pausing and resuming is more reliable, and your tournament keeps running even if a window is accidentally closed.

It's a major change behind the scenes, designed to make everything feel more dependable in front of them.

What else changed

We didn't stop at the engine.

The player lobby has been redesigned to give players a cleaner experience before the tournament begins, and we've reworked sounds across the app to make announcements and game events clearer and more consistent.

Together, it makes The Poker Timer feel more polished from the moment players arrive to the final hand.

Why it matters

When you're running a poker tournament, the clock is the one thing you should never have to think about.

It needs to keep running. It needs to keep the right time. And it needs to recover gracefully when something unexpected happens.

This rebuild gives The Poker Timer a much stronger foundation for that. More reliable today, and better prepared for everything we want to build next.
